Express entry program is one of the most popular immigration
programs in Canada to get permanent residence. It has three major economic
immigration categories, Federal
skilled worker class (FSWC),
Federal
skilled trades class (FSTC)
and Canadian
experience class (CEC). So,
if you are a skilled worker from an overseas country and want to settle in
Canada, then you must submit the profile in Express entry pool.
In case you
don’t know how to submit express entry profile, don’t worry, below is the
step-by-step process for the same.
- Check eligibility:
There are six
selection factors age, level of education, language proficiency, work
experience, adaptability, and arranged employment. Based on these factors, candidates receive their CRS
score and ranking in the pool. Moreover, a minimum score of 67 out of 100 in
point assessment grid is mandatory to become eligible for the program. The
following is the list of general eligibility

However, for express entry
profile, an applicant must have work experience in skill type 0, A or B in the
past. According to your job title, you receive a NOC code which you need to
fill in the form.
An applicant has a maximum of 60
days to complete the online profile; otherwise, after that he/she needs to
create another new profile. After mentioning all the information correctly, you
can submit the profile online.
- Rounds of invitations and response to Invitation to Apply (ITA):
Once you have submitted the
profile, IRCC examines it against others and accordingly provide you rank and
score. Only higher-scoring profiles receive an Invitation to apply (ITA)
through the Express entry draw. In the draw, the number of invites, lowest CRS
score and tie-breaking rule are provided. If your profile is also one of them
and receives an ITA, then you need to submit a completed application within the
next 90 days.
And if the immigration officer
approves your application for Canadian Permanent residence visa, then you will
